CHARLIE DAVIES OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Positive news continues to come from the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., as U.S. Men’s National Team forward Charlie Davies moved out of the ICU on Saturday, Oct. 17. Davies has been able to speak and receive visitors. The New Hampshire native was involved in a fatal one-car accident on the George Washington Parkway which claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

The Davies family has released a statement in appreciation for the support of Charlie and has set up an e-mail account at CharlieDavies9@yahoo.com where fans can send their own messages to the player as he continues his recovery.
