Crew downs Liverpool Reserves 2-0

In the final match of its England preseason trip, the Crew defeated the Liverpool FC reserve squad, 2-0, Thursday at the Reds’ academy site in Knowsley. Alejandro Moreno and Guillermo Barros Schelotto each tallied for the Black and Gold in the second half, ensuring that the Crew went undefeated during its UK excursion.

The squad will depart England to return stateside tomorrow (March 6) and will enjoy the weekend off before conducting a training session on Monday (March 9) morning at a time and location to be determined. It will then depart again on Tuesday (March 10), for its final trip of the preseason, in Austin, Texas, where it will spend five days.
