Northampton Town have shown their support for the Football League's nominated charity - Help for Heroes - by announcing details of a reduced price ticket scheme for serving members of the British armed forces.

Any current member of the armed forces can purchase tickets for home league matches for just £10 on production of a current and valid ID card.

"We are pleased to announce this scheme," said Chairman David Cardoza.

"Dating back to Walter Tull, this Football Club has a proud link with the armed forces and we are keen to offer some form of reward to those brave people who put their lives on the line to serve this country."

Members of the armed forces who wish to take advantage of this are able to visit the Sixfields Box Office or by calling 01604 683777 (card required when collecting ticket). Tickets must be booked in advance of matchday.
