Northampton Town have extended the loan of Middlesbrough defender John Johnson.
Johnson has made 6 appearances during his first month on loan, scoring once, a late equaliser to earn a point against Bradford City. That month on loan was set to expire after Saturday's trip to Morecambe but has now been extended.
"We are pleased that John will be here for another couple of months," said boss Ian Sampson.
"He has settled in really well and he is enjoying his football. We thank Middlesbrough for their assistance and I am sure the experience John is getting here will be of benefit to him."
Northampton Town's reserve team game with Wycombe Wanderers that was scheduled to be played at Wycombe on Tuesday October 27th will now be played at Sixfields (2pm kick off).
The Cobblers will now travel to Buckinghamshire later in the season.
