Tamworth FC added midfielder Wayne Looker,  a 24 year-old player who last season was on the books of Histon FC, but was not with a club this season. Looker trained with the team on Thursday.

Samuel Gaughran, a 19 year old defender on loan from Peterborough United, was also signed by the club.

The three month loan transfer of striker Daryl Clare to Gateshead was officially processed this morning.

The 33 year old has joined Stags’ Blue Square Premier rivals in an attempt to boost his match fitness.

Daryl has started just three times for Mansfield Town this season and has appeared nine times from the subs' bench.

The marksman is not cup tied.  However, he will not be allowed to play against the Stags should Town draw Gateshead in any cup competition.

The Tynesiders currently sit in 19th place in the Blue Square Premier and announced only two days ago that they would go full-time at the start of next season.
