Mansfield Town Football Club are inviting all season ticket holders to send their e-mail to the club and reap further benefits.

With the Stags’ communication with its supporters forever improving, the club now send an e-newsletter to every season ticket holder prior to a home match which contains details of all the goings-on at Field Mill.

The club are asking season ticket holders (who have not already given their e-mail on their season ticket application) to send their e-mail address to info@mansfieldtown.net.

Said Chairman Andrew Perry:  “We want to communicate with as many of our supporters as possible.  In addition to our official website, these e-newsletters contain vital news updates.”

“We have received some great feedback from season ticket holders who regularly receive these e-mails,” he added.

Multiple reports suggest that Chelsea has been banned from signing new players until 2011. FIFA issued the ban after ruling that Chelsea encouraged striker Gael Kakuta to break his contract with a French club and join the English powerhouse. This would be absolutely devastating to a club and a league so dependent on the transfer market.
