With an away tie at Cambridge United in the 2nd Round of the F.A. Trophy - Saturday January 9. kick off 15.00 -
Eastbourne Borough will be heading for the Abbey Stadium two Saturdays in succession - they are also there for a Blue Square Premier League fixture on January 16.
In the 1st Round United had an impressive 3-1 win over Luton Town with Chris Holroyd (2) and Danny Crowe getting the goals while Borough won 1-0 (Liam Enver-Marum) at Welling United.
Borough and United featured in an entertaining BSP 2-2 at Priory Lane nine days ago. The Sports led twice through Paul Armstrong and Enver-Marum - but had to settle for a share of the points.

Eastbourne Borough will NOT be increasing admission prices when VAT rises to 17.5% on January 1st. When the rate dropped to 15% Borough reduced turnstile prices by £1. for all Blue Square Premier League evening matches at Priory Lane and supporters got added value for this concession with several Saturday fixtures, postponed because of weather, re-arranged for nightime!
ALTRINCHAM AWAY NEXT FOR BOROUGH
For the second time in three weeks Eastbourne Borough head the 267 miles to the Northwest - with Altrincham the Blue Square Premier destination on Saturday (December 19) kick off 15.00.
The round trip to Moss Lane is 534 miles but last season it became 1,170 before the away fixture was fulfilled. Scheduled for February it was called off less than two hours before kick-off just as the team coach arrived at the ground, the referee deeming the pitch unfit for play due to frost.
In fact the North West is proving something of a jinx for Borough who use the same secluded Cheshire hotel base for matches at Wrexham, Chester and Altrincham. Two weeks ago the BSP game against Cheshire was abandoned after 72 minutes following a second pitch invasion by home fans. The Conference Board have still to rule on the abandonment but should they decide the game is to be replayed at the Deva then Borough will face yet
another 540 mile round trip trek to Chester.
Altrincham are currently 11th. in the Blue Square Premier with 32 points from 23 matches. Surprisingly their away form is far better than at Moss Lane. At home they have picked up 11 points with two wins, five draws and four defeats. On the road they have collected an impressive 21 points with six wins, three draws and three losses. At home they have only netted 10 goals and conceeded 12.
Alty finished 15th. in the BSP last season and Borough took four points from the two 2008/09 encounters. At Priory Lane at Paul Armstrong goal sealed a 1-0 win. In the re-arranged fixture at Moss Lane in April a four goal thriller ended 2-2. West Ham loanee Jack Jeffery and Ben Austin gave Borough a 2-0 lead only for Altrincham - through veteran striker Colin Little and midfielder Shaun Densmore - to make it 2-2.
In the 2004/05 North v South Promotion Final at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke Altrincham edged out Borough 2-1 for the Conference promotion spot.
