Dynamo to compete in inaugural Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando

Four-team pre-season tournament to take place February 25-27 

HOUSTON, TX - January 21, 2010 - The Houston Dynamo will participate in the inaugural Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando, Fla., February 25-27, it was announced today.

The Dynamo will be competing against the New York Red Bulls in their opening match on February 25, with FC Dallas facing Toronto FC in the other semifinal. The third-place and championship games will be held February 27. All four games will be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex as part of ESPN The Weekend, presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The tournament is part of the Dynamo’s preparation for the 2010 season, which they kick off on March 27 at FC Dallas in Frisco, Texas. Houston will play its first regular season home game on Thursday, April 1, at 8 p.m. at Robertson Stadium against defending MLS Cup champion Real Salt Lake.

The Dynamo will host the 2010 Major League Soccer All-Star Game this summer at Reliant Stadium, and tickets are available in Dynamo season ticket packages, on sale now at HoustonDynamo.com or by calling (713) 276-7500.
